ENTERTAINMENT ON WEDNESDAYS THIS SUMMER:

Wednesday, June 7th – Spatial Poetry – Write a poem about your favorite street or place in Leeds. Bring a copy of your poem to display on our Spatial Poetry Board and make a copy to give to the location that is your favorite place to keep the kindness going.

Wednesday, June 14th – The Science Lady Returns! – @10:30am for younger children PreK – 5th graders – come see science experiments with some hands-on fun and always lots of laughs.

Wednesday, June 21st – with the Alabama Wildlife Center at 1:00pm – Kick off the first day of summer in the cool temperatures of the library. We will explore the animals that the Alabama Wildlife Center brings. Learn up close and see these amazing animals who
live right and fly above us everyday.

Wednesday, June 28th – Red Mountain Theatre at 11am- Come to the library and see these traveling professionals preform. We will get a chance to learn too!

Wednesday, July 5th – Library Closed for the holiday

Wednesday, July 12th – Library Campout- We are going to place our cute kid-sized tents in the meeting room, turn on the patio lights, pull down the movie screen and watch a kid friendly movie. We will have campout themed snacks and beverages, sing campfire songs make shadow puppets and make campout themed crafts. (No scary stories)

Wednesday, July 19th – Nashville Science Guys @2pm – This group of Science Guys are entertaining and fun… you will not want to miss it!
