Downtown Story Walk

I am excited to let you to know that the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library is partnering with our friends of Leeds Main Street to have a Story Walk throughout Leeds during the month of March in celebration of Read Across America.

We are inviting everyone to come read stories in downtown Leeds.  The Story Walk activity begins at the Library with the book’s cover and instruction posted on the library’s front window.

“Please continue reading this story on the storefront windows throughout downtown Leeds!”

We’ve selected two books written by Dr. Seuss. One book is for the parents to read, “Oh the Places You’ll Go” and one for younger readers, “Great Day For Up”.

We are pleased to be partnering with Leeds Main Street on a project that promotes literacy, builds community, and supports the businesses in historic downtown Leeds.
