The December 2022 Calendar has arrived for the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library. There is so much fun in store for everyone of all ages that we can barely contain ourselves!!! December is filled with preparing for Christmas and packed with fun activities. A new addition to the Leeds library is the themed Family Night Kit. Families will be given
a list of Family Night items to select. They can choose from our large selection of Board Games (over 100 games), Christmas themed Books, DVDs, Audio Stories, and Stuffed
Animal friends with books. They can also build packets of STEM activities, Art & Crafts Projects and ideas, and LEGO challenges. The Family Night Kits can be enjoyed at the
library or maybe checked out to take home or with them as they travel during the Christmas Holiday Break.
The Friends of the Library invited local tv celebrity, Chef Rose to come Monday, December 12th from 2pm to 5pm. She will bring her prepared cakes for everyone to
taste with the option to purchase. The Friends of the Library will have coffee prepared for everyone’s enjoyment.
On Tuesday, December 13th at 10:30am My Story Town will travel to the North Pole for story time with Mrs. Claus. Children and their caretaker will receive their My Story Town
sticker for their passports, and matching buttons. They will enjoy stories, cookies and milk, crafts, and have the opportunity to place their letters to Santa in our North Pole
mailbox for a speedy and special delivery to the North Pole.
