Leeds Jane Culbreth Library is counting to 100 at 1:00pm everyday between January 10th and April 19th.  We will count up to the 100th year anniversary of having a Library in Leeds, Alabama. Look for our announcements of activities, events, and programs in the months to come leading up to the 100th Year Anniversary Celebration and visit our social media often for updates!

Library Closing Early Today

Due to plumbing issues, Leeds Jane Culbreth Library is closing early today, January 11 and will be closed tomorrow, January 12.  We will reopen on Friday, January 13.  We apologize for any inconvenience!

We had a fabulous My Story Town event at Leeds Primary School yesterday.  Please check out the January My Story Town Page for more information and join us next month on February 14 for the February My Story Town event.

Take & Make Snowman

Monday, December 19: Do you wanna build a snowman? Take & Make for older kids. Come to the Leeds Library, TODAY – Monday, December 19th, to get a paper 3-D Snowman with instructions ready for you to cut out, assemble, and decorate!  Take and Make – All day – While they last.

Chef Rose – Coffee & Cake Friends of the Library Event

Time: 2pm-6pm Event Details: Welcome Chef Rose to the Library! You will recognize Chef Rose from her cooking spots on TVs Talk of Alabama, local morning talk show. Chef Rose will bring cakes to taste and take. This Friends of the Library event is a fundraiser and just in time for the holiday parties and edible gifts.

My Story Town: The North Pole | Leeds Jane Culbreth Library

Time: 10:30am Event Details: Join us at the North Pole/Leeds Library for My Story Town! Mrs. Claus is going to read us stories, we will enjoy cookies & milk, sing songs, do

Beverly’s Dance Studio – Christmas Themed!

Wednesday, December 14th
Time: 10:30am Event Details: Join in the music and move and groove! Bring your 2yrs and up children for 30 mins of movement and dance routines. This free dance activity is a gift to the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library Patrons. Bring a friend and sign them up for a library card!

3rd Thursday Art Club with Karen

Thursday, December 15th — 3rd Thursday Art Club
Time: 4pm Event Details: Join Artist and teacher, Karen Carroll for a lively lesson in art. Although this is a group activity, Karen gives individual instruction and advice. All ages
