ENTERTAINMENT ON THURSDAYS THIS SUMMER:
Thursdays – Drop in and play at the Library – 10am – 5:30pm – we will have fun things to do and explore in the kids area. Come to the library to stay cool and meet your friends to play on Thursdays together.
Thursdays – Play and Create Together LEGOS – @1:30pm we have LEGOS for most ages. Come to the meeting room and play and create LEGOS together.
Thursday, June 8th – Alabama Wildlife Center – @10:30am – Come learn about the animals in Alabama. We can see and learn about the animals who fly, crawl and live in the wild near us.
Thursday, June 15th – Leeds Tribute Quilt @1:30pm – This event is for all ages! We are excited that, the much loved and talented, Children’s Director, Karen Carroll is going to let everyone create something unique to be added to the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library
Tribute Quilt. Once the quilt is complete we will display it at the library. Join us in the meeting room to create a beautiful gift to help celebrate the Library’s 100th year!
Thursday, June 22nd – Create together – Flower Power Craft – @1:30pm
Thursday, June 29th – Be sure to bring in your poem about your favorite place in Leeds so that we can display it on our board to share your love for our cite and for others to be inspired.
Thursday, July 6th – Drop in and play 10am – 5:30pm and Create & Play Together LEGOs
Thursday, July 13th – Red Mountain Theatre @10:30am – we are happy to have the Red Mountain Traveling Theatre group come to the library a second time! Come watch and learn.
Thursday, July 27th – The Science Lady @1:00pm – The Science Lady is returning to do a program just for the older kids – 6th-12th. Come explore and do some hands-on science experiments. Her programs are always entertaining, she teaches science in a fun way.
